August 2008:

Lines 2 & 3 are being moved from the old site and re-installed, this work is expected to finish early September.

Ecodek continues to beat the competition with unrivalled customer service, colour ranges and the ability to make to custom lengths at no extra charge.

July 2008:

Our newest line is now up and running in the new factory, this extruder utilizes the latest wpc manufacturing technology allowing us to maintain our high standard of product quality.

May 2008:

Factory move going well, office has moved over into new site. Production equipment is moving early June. Once the move is complete, we expect our capacity to double. The new unit also allows us to hold much larger quantities of stock, therefore improving our customer service even more!

March 2008:

March is when we will be moving to a much bigger manufacturing site. Strong demand for Ecodek means we have to install more extrusion equipment to satisfy the market. We still expect to be able to keep our customers happy throughout the move by running both plants simultaneously.

January 2008:

New, heavy duty handrail system launched, designed to fit perfectly with our heavy duty post. Now consists of a base rail and a capping rail, the base rail is reversible so can be used on the top and the bottom of the balustrade and the capping rail is designed to fit snugly into the base rail, hiding the screws securing the spindles. Please see our 'Balustrade Assembly' page for more information.

December 2007:

New, 2 piece handrail designed. Due for release January 2008. Pictures to follow.....

November 2007:

We have developed a photo luminescent (glow-in-the-dark) product that can be permanently bonded to the deckboard. This is particularly useful for steps, edges of jetties etc where it is necessary to highlight a rise or fall. The photo luminescent strip sits slightly raised of the deck which also allows you to feel a change of surface underfoot (especially important when complying with the Disability Discrimination Act). (This product is due for release early 2008.)

We have now developed a welding technique that allows the deckboards to be permanently sealed together, this is beneficial in the case of a raised deck for example, where you require a watertight storage area below. Now, instead of having to put a waterproof membrane between the deck joists an a false ceiling arrangement, you can now do away with both and have the deck sealed by an expert!
